Next Week – Monday August 18th @ Sunset

Ferris Buellers day off will be playing at Pier 13 on Monday, August 18th at sunset. We’ve included it in this week’s line-up so that you have plenty of time to mark your calendar for this 80s classic. The nostalgia is kicking in already! Released in 1986, the movie stars Matthew Broderick and Mia Sara and the best parade-crashing we’ve ever seen.

2) Liam Brown Live @ Hoboken Hot House

Tuesday August 12th, 7PM-Close

Listen to the eclectic mix of rock, folk and celtic music at the Hoboken Hot House this Tuesday night. Bring a bottle of wine or beer as it’s BYOB. For the latest event updates visit their Facebook page.

Wednesday August 13th, 8PM

This week’s Movies Under the Stars feature is The Lego Movie – finally! This unexpected comedic hit is about an ordinary lego that is deemed the chosen one, responsible for saving the LEGO universe from evil.  The animated film is surprisingly well-written and filled with enough adult humor to make it enjoyable for the young and old. Read the full movie synopsis here

4) 12th Annual Belgian Beer Night @ Dubliner

Thursday August 14th, 7PM

The Dubliner (click for location) is hosting the 12th Annual Belgian Beer Night on their rooftop this Thursday.  It’s a great night for an outdoor event with the weather forecast looking sunny with temperatures potentially hitting highs of 79 degrees. This charitable event is asking for a suggested $20 donation which will help fund the Hoboken Volunteers activities. This event is 100% sponsored, meaning that every dollar you donate goes straight towards charity! The beer will be provided by the Boulder Beer Company, Colorado’s first craft brewery. Get more info about the event here.

5) Food Truck Frenzy & Live Music @ Pier 13
